Attention all you CREATIVE WRITERS! Denise and Matthew host their FIRST-EVER GUEST today - Mrs. Shirley Thornton (also Matthew's Mom)! Shirley taught English - reading, writing, and grammar - for nearly 30 years, and has most recently taken on a career as a professional newspaper and book editor. She joins the show to talk specifically about how authors can successfully use VOICE and DIALECT to improve the writing of their characters. A quick note: Today's show is quite a bit longer than our norm given the circumstances of the subject matter. For you creative writers out there, this one is for you!
